1. Product scope

GRIP_ins delivers jurisdiction-level transit and geopolitical risk signals for cargo and marine underwriting desks. Outputs include GRIP composite scores (0–100), geo transit recommendations, chokepoint severity, and country sanctions programme flags.

Out of scope: entity sanctions screening, loss probability, premium or PML calculation, binding underwriting decisions.

Limitations: country-level only; fallback rows excluded from GRIP blend
